A new tool that promises to cut down development time and build integrated workflow applications using visual interface was released by Lotus in the wake of its acquisition of the product's US creator, One Stone.
Domino Workflow 2.0 is claimed to streamline a range of enterprise business processes by automating the management and routing of key workflow information.
Providing Lotus developers with a graphical development tool for the first time, Workflow 2.0 comprises Domino Workflow Architect for definition and execution of workflow processes, Domino Workflow Engine built on five Domino databases and Domino Workflow Viewer that lets users view tasks or process status in the system.
The system integrates with Lotus Domino.Doc and leverages Domino infrastructure investment and expertise, officials said.
Domino Workflow Engine pricing starts at $15,392 per server and $92 per client. Domino Workflow Architect pricing starts at $3842 per application developer.
