Financial services giant AMP has re-signed with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) inking an outsourcing contract extension worth $150 million over three years.
Under the agreement, CSC will continue to provide desktop, network and mainframe maintenance and support, and selected mid-range services for AMP's Australian operations through May 2007. CSC's relationship with AMP began in November 1993 when the companies signed an initial 10-year outsourcing agreement. Their long-standing partnership has been a solid one with AMP CIO Lee Barnett confirming their 'relationship' was central to their decision to extend the contract. He said a review was undertaken but CSC's track record and ability to adapt to AMP's changing business secured the deal.
