Compuware, IBM sign software licence

Compuware Asia Pacific and IBM Global Services announced this week a $25 million software licensing agreement.

The deal is designed to allow IBM Global Services to more flexibly distribute Compuware licences by no longer needing to negotiate agreements on a site-by-site basis.

Joe Valenti, Telstra alliance manager with IBM Global Services, said the agreement covers Compuware mainframe software tools such as File-AID, XPEDITER, Hiperstation and Abend-AID which are used for IBM Global Services' contract with Telstra.

"Compuware recognises a company like IBM Global Services Australia hassome fairly unique needs," John Debrincat, VP of Compuware Asia Pacific said.
