Telstra launched a marketing campaign yesterday designed to position the carrier as a strategic e-commerce and information systems partner for Australian business.
The company is pushing its Business Solutions group -- formerly known as the Business and Government group -- to the fore as part of a carefully orchestrated plan to shift core revenues away telecommunications services.
Lindsay Yelland, group managing director of Telstra Business Solutions, said the company wants to become a one-stop business solutions shop.
"We will be the value-added partner to customers who need and want guidance as they deploy new technologies and end-to-end electronic communications solutions to benefit their business," he said.
