SAP Australia managing director and executive vice president Tony Harris resigned yesterday, effective immediately.
It is believed an executive from PricewaterhouseCoopers will replace Harris on June 1. In the meantime, SAP regional president Les Hayman will manage the day-to-day operations of the ERP giant.
SAP could not reveal Harris' plans for the future and would not comment on suggestions that he was asked to leave due to SAP's lacklustre financial results of recent times.
"We haven't made any losses. Business looks good for the next 12 months," a SAP spokesperson said.
Harris' departure follows the announcement that EMC's managing director, Mike Foster, will also leave shortly to take a position at Telstra as chief of sales.
