Dimension Data Offers Managed IP Telephony Services to Meet Growing Customer Demand

<p>Sydney, 21 September 2004 – In response to continued growth in Australia’s IP Telephony market, Dimension Data today announced its Managed IP Telephony Service. The service will provide enterprise clients with customised offerings, taking part or total responsibility for the development and management of a client’s IP telephony infrastructure.</p>
<p>Dimension Data’s Managed IP Telephony Services allow clients to bring IP telephony into their business through a specialist supplier, allowing them to focus on their core competencies. This will simplify management and reduce internal resources and training. Clients can choose from a flexible range of managed services to support their IP telephony systems, according to organisational needs, with the advantage of predictable operational costs.</p>
<p>“Our pricing model for the delivery of Managed IP Telephony Services is based on a per-user, per-month basis which keep ongoing costs predictable even if our clients need to scale the service to bring on new users, or new locations,” said Roland Chia, National Business Manager, Connectivity at Dimension Data.</p>
<p>This per-user, per-month pricing structure for Managed IP Telephony Services is able to cover the plan, build and support phases of a project. The service is available for clients with an existing IP telephony network or those planning to build one from the ground up.</p>
<p>Dimension Data’s Managed IP Telephony Services allow clients to choose from a range of options based on four service levels, including: maintenance and support; remote monitoring and management; capacity planning; moves, adds, changes and deletes (MACDs); and additional management of services ranging from reception consoles, voice mail and speech applications.</p>
