Daisytek Australia was formed in October 1996 by the acquisition of Lasercharge, Australia's leading distributor of computer consumables, by its US parent company. It has established itself as Australia's only wholesaler to focus solely on computer consumables.

Daisytek Australia currently distributes over 6000 products, such as Inkjet Cartridges, Laser Toners, Data Storage Supplies, Output Media, Fax and Copier Toners and Computer Accessories from more than 145 Original Equipment Manufacturers.

According to managing director Paul Connelly: "We strive to stand out from our competitors through superior customer service, high order fill rates, the fastest turnaround times and the quality and breadth of our product line and value-added services."

Connelly added that Daisytek Australia is committed to achieving increased market share and continued sales and earnings growth. One of the key elements of its strategy is a continual focus on supplies, in order to eliminate the risk of product obsolescence.
