Solutions 6 is celebrating its first successful SAP/R3 and Lotus Notes implementation, delivering the software over the Internet, the company announced yesterday.
In May this year the accounting business systems supplier signed up UNICEF, installing and completing phase one of the project recently.
For the cost-challenged non-profit organisation UNICEF, the fully integrated ASP suite provides a way of keeping administration costs down.
UNICEF CEO Gaye Phillips commented that the organisation is sensitive to the impact of high operational and administration costs. "Every dollar we spend on administration in Australia is a dollar we can't spend in the field," she said.
The charity plans to retire its old applications with the new ERP/R3 solution enabling them to get a complete view of their donors giving access to the information in real time.
Phase 2, due for completion in the next two months, will deliver a pre-configured intranet and a customer relationship management system for UNICEF.
