Sausage dips its toe in retail waters

Sausage Software announced yesterday its first move into the retail world with the new release of HotDog Junior available through a variety of mass retailers.

The list includes Telstra Shops, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, VOX, Dealer, Tandy, Myer, Retravision,Leading Edge, Bing Lee, Software Today (Strathfield), International Software Warehouse and Electronics Boutique.

Retailing for $69, HotDog Junior is billed as a Web authoring tool that allows children and first-time Internet users to build their own Web page in just five minutes, Sausage reports.

"The release of HotDog Junior represents the first Sausage/Telstra co-branded product to retail in stores around Australia and the first opportunity consumers have to purchase HotDog off the shelf," commented Sausage director Wayne Bos, in a company statement.
