Rising star hooks Triton deal

Leading network integrator NetStar Australia Networks has teamed up with startup Triton Secure to market the SAFLINK suite of biometric and authentication network security solutions.

NetStar and Triton Secure announced yesterday the signing of a platinum-level partnership agreement, which is the highest-level partner program awarded by Triton. The agreement covers the sales, support, integration and maintenance of biometric identification and authentication solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

NetStar's managing director, Kent Brooks, said that organisations are now more aware of user authentication ineffectiveness and are seeking new solutions. "Through our partnership with Triton Secure, we are in a commanding position to offer customers higher levels of security solutions which are easier to administer and provide greater protection."

Triton Secure's chief operating officer, John Meddows, said the appointment of NetStar as a platinum-level partner signalled a new era in the provision and administration of security solutions in Australia.

"By combining the award-winning multi-biometric and authentication solutions with the experience and expertise of NetStar, we will lead the industry's drive to secure the enterprise," said Meddows.

"The agreement with NetStar will present Australian businesses with cost-effective, proven technologies for accessing business-to-business, business-to-employee and business-to-consumer transactions."
