Cisco's new video- conferencing productsCisco has announced its IP/VC product family, a videoconferencing solution for deploying next-generation Internet Protocol (IP)-based videoconferencing solutions while preserving legacy investments.

The product family includes the IP/VC 3510 multipoint control unit (MCU), the IP/VC (H.320-to-H.323) 3520 and 3525 videoconferencing gateways, the IP/VC 3530 video terminal adapter (VTA) and the Cisco Multimedia Conference Manager (MCM), an H.323 gatekeeper/proxy.

The TigerSwitch 6716L3 performs layer 2 switching and IP-based Layer 3 routing in the same box. SOX has full CTI and unified messaging through its integration with Microsoft's Outlook software. Key enhancements in Secure 3.0 include two DNS servers, an SMTP mail server and a POP mail server. The new servers are integrated with SecureZone's management interface, which includes complete auditing, reporting, backup and restore functions.
