Logical's acquisition of Queensland value-added reseller C:Drive is a sign of more to come after Logical Pacific's CEO, Lyle Potgieter, told ARN today it has three more acquisitions to come.
C:Drive, a state-based VAR with partners such as Compaq and Cisco, is the sixth acquisition for the Datatech-owned company this year.
The recently acquired list includes the CNI Group, Anite Networks, ACT Networks, CCS Victoria and CCS NSW.
According to Potgieter, C:Drive gives Logical access to new Queensland customers, such as Government departments.
In return, Logical allows C:Drive to become part of a national company, which Potgieter said is becoming one of the most significant discriminators to winning new business.
"There has to be something that we bring to the table," he said of Logical's bid to make sure C:Drive is happy with the acquisition.
While financial details of the deal were not disclosed, Potgieter said C:Drive has annual revenues of $15 million and 25 staff, who will all remain with the company.
C:Drive is expected to be renamed Logical within 30 days, Potgieter said.
