Executive chairman Jeffrey Tobias has once again taken the reins of managing director at Dataflow, in a major staff overhaul at the Sydney-based software distributor.
The announcement follows the resignation of the previous managing director, Michael Touma, and the recent appointment of Tony Gattari to the sales and marketing division.
Tobias cited "differences about company direction" as the reason for Touma's departure, but added that Touma would remain at the company until Christmas to complete some business initiatives.
Gattari, who recently joined Dataflow as a consultant, said he would be playing a more active role in the sales and marketing areas of the business.
"Dataflow is a company with an unbelievable amount to offer the channel," Gattari said. "Dataflow has positioned itself as a powerhouse in the IT distribution arena, and I am delighted that I can be involved in playing a greater role in the sales and marketing area."
Tobias said Dataflow has been going through "quite a period of change of late".
The company has just implemented a new tier-one IT system (OneWorld from JDEdwards), moved offices and warehouses from Artarmon to Lane Cove, and signed three new distribution agreements with Philips Speech Products, Corel and Lucas Learning.
