Nominations for the third annual Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) open October 1 and run until October 22, 2014.
WIICTA will be presented at a lavish luncheon in Sydney at the Ivy Ballroom on Thursday November 27.
Last year, the inaugural awards were a resounding success with more than 216 ICT professionals attending the event.
This year, there are seven awards that recognise and celebrate female excellence in the ICT channel, rewarding professional achievements and outstanding results in the industry. The awards are: Achievement; Rising Star; Entrepreneur; Innovation; Technical; Community; and Lifetime Achievement (not open to nomination, but selected by ARN president and publisher, Susan Searle, IT veteran and Hall of Fame, Ross Cochrane, and ARN Associate Editor, Jennifer O’Brien).
These awards recognise the very best in the channel, celebrating the achievements of a talented crop of female front runners who have made it through to become influential figures in Australia’s ICT industry.
The awards also recognise the ‘rising stars’ in the industry, women who are quickly growing in importance in the ICT industry.
Once again, nominations open October 1 and we welcome entries from all talented females working in the ICT industry.
