Internet and telecommunications provider, Eftel (ASX:EFT), has acquired wholesale telecommunications service provider, Platform Networks|All on Platform Networks, for an undisclosed sum.

Townsville-based ISP, On Q Communications, has joined the National Broadband Network (NBN) mainland trial.

The telco joins 14 other companies in the trial and is gearing up to become a big player in the wholesale aggregation space.
