The integration between distribution houses Avnet Technology Solutions and itX is progressing through the next stage, bringing some of its offices together across the country and linking backend systems.

Global distributor, Avnet, revealed it achieved $US6.6 billion in sales for the third quarter of 2011, ending April 2.

Avnet Technology Solutions has expanded its global distribution arrangement with Oracle into the Asia-Pacific market, including A/NZ.

Resellers will have access to the full gamut of SonicWall products ranging from intelligent firewalls, unified threat management, SSL VPNs, email security and continuous data protection.

Locally the distributor will begin to focus on key technology areas such as storage, networking and virtualisation
