Telecommunications provider, Optus Business, has announced its integration with IT services arm, Alphawest, to create a single ICT organisation with intent to serve the end-to-end needs of the Australian business and government market.

Optus has has slashed 290 jobs as part of an organisational restructure it announced last month. The cuts will be made progressively over the next few weeks.
