By Hafizah Osman | 11 April, 2013 16:45Asus has launched its Transformer AiO (all-in-one) desktop PC, which runs on both Windows 8 and Android. As an 18.4-inch tablet, it can be used on both systems but when it is on dock, it runs on the Windows 8 platform. The desktop also connects to a monitor, creating a mirror reflection of the PC. It is available from retailer, Harvey Norman, and distributor, Synnex.

This was Asus' first official dinner marking the success of its partners and was one of three award ceremonies - two other awards ceremonies were held in Brisbane and Melbourne over the last two weeks. Distie attendees included representatives from Synnex, Altech, and Dicker Data.

The tablets, all Android-based, go by the moniker "Eee Pad" while the Windows 7 device is called an "Eee Slate." Each one offers some unique features, from stylus input options to sliding keyboards or docking stations. Unfortunately, we don't yet have exact shipping dates or prices for the Android tablets, and the Eee Slate looks to be fairly pricey.
