Vendors included Intel, Asus, HP, SteelSeries, Acer, Lenovo and LG. The distributor provided live entertainment as well as a gaming station with Xbox 360 S' set-up to so guests could unwind. The gaming theme was heavy at this roadshow as AMD also had a game set-up while SteelSeries upped the ante by recruiting Australia's top gaming clan, Team Immunity, to show off their skills.

Last week, the National Broadband Network was officially launched in Tasmania by Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, Communications Minister, Stephen Conroy, and Tasmanian Premier, David Bartlett. In these pictures they pose with the big blue button at the official launch, and meet and greet the public — despite the fact that some residents and businesses in Tasmania have already been getting NBN services for weeks.
