IN PICTURES: Markinson takes on Oxfam Trailwalker Brisbane Challenge
Brisbane-based business solutions provider, Markinson, recently competed in the gruelling Oxfam Trailwalker Brisbane Challenge with two teams of four and the goal was to raise $1000 per team. The teams had 48 hours to walk 100km from Mt. Glorious to Mt. Coot-tha, with the Markinson teams completed the challenge in 41 hours and only three team members retiring half way through the race. The first team, Marching Markinson, consisting of CEO Ian Whiting, Peter Moore, Todd Lord and Joyce Tian, raised $1545, while the second team, Markinson Marvels, comprised of Ben Welch, Michael Brown, Emmanuel Letellier and Ron Beddows, raised $1625.
