IN PICTURES: Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs public lecture at UTS, Sydney
The brains behind the global communications vendor's research arm journeyed to Australia to showcase the technology innovations from Bell Labs.
Bell Labs was originally formed in 1925 as Bell Telephone Laboratories. Since its inception, the research and development organisations has been at the forefront of communications innovations.
Alcatel-Lucent currently holds Bell Labs thanks to the Alcatel and Lucent Technologies merger in 2006.
Alice White (pictured) is currently the chief scientist at Bell Labs.
Alcatel-Lucent collaborated with the University of Technology (UTS) in Sydney to hold this public lecture.
