SOFTWARE AG EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR FOR ITEMFIELD IN AUSTRALIA
Complete data integration solution for enterprise application deployments
Software AG and ItemField, Inc. announce worldwide distribution agreement
Sydney, and Rest of World, 17 June 2003 - Software AG and ItemField, Inc. have announced a worldwide distribution agreement through which Software AG will resell ItemField’s ContentMaster XML-based data transformation software suite. Software AG is the exclusive distributor for ContentMaster in Australia.
The agreement between the two best-of-breed XML technology solution companies enables Software AG to distribute ContentMaster as a complement to its Tamino XML Server and EntireX product family, providing a comprehensive solution for the XML application integration marketplace.
“The addition of ContentMaster extends the reach of Tamino XML Server and the EntireX product suite to include legacy, unstructured and proprietary data formats such as Word, PDF, EBCDIC and positional reports, and it reduces significantly the complexity of and effort involved in integration, yielding a rapid and high return on investment”, explains Michael Hawkins, National Product Manager for Australia/New Zealand at Software AG.
ContentMaster is a powerful, real-time, bi-directional XML-based data-transformation software suite. It is expressly designed to empower companies to dynamically transform all of their enterprise data – even the most complex proprietary unstructured data. ContentMaster quickly and seamlessly transforms data via XML from any source on any platform, and from any format, to any other - with no programming.
“This strategic relationship with Software AG represents another important worldwide channel for ItemField’s transformation technology and emphasises our continued focus on creating partnerships with leading global software vendors,” says Sam Somech, CEO of ItemField. “ContentMaster combined with Tamino XML Server and the EntireX product suite provides a far-reaching data integration solution to the market, allowing companies to fully leverage the power of XML while shortening the deployment cycle significantly.”
Software AG's Tamino XML Server is an award winning, high-performance XML-based data management platform. Tamino XML Server empowers users to locate and manage any type of content across their enterprise and to build mission-critical and platform-independent systems to conduct business both today and tomorrow.
EntireX is Software AG's leading-edge integration server that helps organizations leverage custom-built systems, packaged applications and Web services for use in new solutions. The EntireX product suite consists of EntireX XML Mediator and EntireX Communicator. Software AG’s EntireX XML Mediator is an XML document-exchange tool that automatically manages and controls the processing, transformation and routing of XML documents within and beyond the enterprise.
Software AG’s EntireX Communicator enables users to effectively integrate their IT systems by turning them into re-usable services. The interfaces to these services can include XML, SOAP, DCOM, Java, .NET etc. With EntireX XML Mediator, these services can then seamlessly contribute to XML-based, document-centric integration. EntireX is available on mainframe, Unix, Linux, Windows, AS/400 and OpenVMS systems.
