Fujitsu enables turn key solution for SAP BusinessObjects™ Explorer
Sydney, Australia – 15 June 2009: Fujitsu, a leading provider of business, information technology and communications solutions today announced plans to support SAP® BusinessObjects™ Explorer software in the Australian market, to enable intuitive, easy search navigation and improved efficiency by providing self-service Business Intelligence reporting.
SAP BusinessObjects Explorer employs high performance and scalability, providing Australian business users with the opportunity to dramatically increase Business Intelligence (BI) query response up to 100 times faster than non-tuned BI queries.
As an SAP global services partner, Fujitsu will deploy the SAP BusinessObjects Explorer Software with Fujitsu PRIMERGY blade servers as an out of box solution, which will enable rapid deployment and allow customers to very quickly start realising business benefits. Globally certified by SAP, the solution is jointly developed by Fujitsu and SAP enabling optimal performance at the lowest possible cost.
Fujitsu is one of the first partners to provide an end-to-end offering that leverages existing capabilities ranging from business advisory, implementation and post implementation services to maximise business impact and optimise service continuity.
Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand implemented the solution into its own business practice to improve timeliness and accessibility to BI data. “The solution provides accurate and instant delivery of data required for decision making. Unlike alternate BI tools, the solution doesn’t require in-depth training and heavily involved analytical methods,” states Ian Hodge, Head of SAP Practice, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, a business that comprises more than 500 SAP practitioners.
“Today SAP delivers a revolutionary new solution that lets employees explore their business at the speed of thought,” said Mark Freer, SAP. “We recognise the contributions that Fujitsu has made to help ensure our customers have the best possible experience with SAP BusinessObjects Explorer. We will continue to co-innovate with our ecosystem, and look forward to ongoing successful collaborations with Fujitsu.”
