Jeff Smith, Industry Veteran and Cloud Innovator, Joins FireScope Board of Directors
July 19, 2011 - Sydney, Australia - FireScope Inc., the leader in aligning customers' technology performance to their business and customer experiences, today announced that Jeff Smith, CEO of Suncorp Business Services, has joined its Board of Directors.
Jeff Smith is recognised as a thought leader and innovator and has been awarded CIO of the year twice since 2003, once by the press and once by his peers. Over the 27 years that Mr. Smith has been in the IT industry, he has held numerous Chief Information Officer (CIO) or equivalent roles, including CIO for Telstra Corporation. He has also held leadership positions in a number of world-class companies including Honeywell, Toyota and Charles Schwab.

As Suncorp is a current Firescope customer, Jeff Smith will not participate in any discussions or decisions regarding the business relationship between the two companies.
