The 2016 ARN ICT Industry Awards season has officially kicked into high gear with the Judges’ Networking Lunch recently held at a glittering event at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney. More than 120 people attended the Judges’ lunch and were the first to hear about the theme of the 2016 awards.
This year, ARN celebrates its 25th year. We are planning a huge celebration on September 15, 2016 when we host the 10th annual awards, and will simultaneously recognise the publication of the first edition of Reseller Magazine which hit the desks of Australian IT companies in September 1991.
The nominations this year will open on May 23 and close June 20. Please see our award nominations section for more details about the specific awards and criteria. Each award is comprised of a set of questions with select criteria - about four or five questions per award.
Due to popular demand, we will continue to offer a dedicated Cloud technology category, which recognises players focussing on Cloud-based technologies and services. There are three awards: Vendor, Partner, and Best Cloud Initiative, which is open to distributors, vendors and partners.
The vendor award category will continue to offer five awards: hardware; software; specialist; security; and networking. The security and networking awards, which were added last year, give vendors yet another opportunity to highlight and showcase their success stories in specially designed and highly focused awards.
Meanwhile, in our Personal Innovation category, we will continue to offer the Channel Manager, which is all about showing success in sales, profitability and partner recruitment objectives. Rounding out the Personal innovation category, are the Technical Excellence and Management Excellence awards.
Of course, we continue to keep our popular award categories open: vendor; distributor, partner, community; personal innovation; telecommunications; homegrown innovators; and Cloud.
So stay tuned for more developments and regular stories to be written about the 2016 awards season in the months to come.
