2013 ARN ICT Industry Awards launched
Celebrating a ‘year of stars’

Welcome to the official site of the 2013 ARN ICT Industry Awards, which recognise and celebrate channel excellence over the past year.

To be hosted at a Black Tie gala dinner on Wednesday, September 18, at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, the 2013 awards theme is A night of stars - celebrating a year of stars, aptly named for the myriad of channel champions, talented professionals and high-achieving technology companies making a difference in the ICT industry.

Like previous years, we are expecting a record number of entries this year across the 26 award categories. New this year is the Collaboration vendor award category, which is this year’s designated focus as part of the Best Emerging Technology Initiative.The award focuses on collaboration technologies and how they are enabling better business communications and expanding the reach of enterprises.

Again this year, on the judging front, we have overwhelming support from the IT community and have appointed 82 judges on our panel: 22 from the distributor ranks, 25 from the vendor camp, 24 from the reseller community, and 11 from the telecommunications industry. This year, we welcome some new faces to the Judging panel (people who have moved across into channel leadership roles) and we have also brought on-board new companies across all segments of the channel (from the vendor, reseller and distributor categories).

And now that the award categories are out for review – and the awards fever has officially begun - it is also time for the Judging Panel to start thinking about their Hall of Fame nominees. Last year, we welcomed Pip Marlow, Andrew Thomas and Nick Verykios to the select group. This year, we will invite three more worthy individuals from the vendor, reseller and distributor ranks.
