VMware partners honoured

Alphawest and Commander collected two gongs each at VMware's global and local award ceremonies. Alphawest picked up the VMWare Top Technical Achievement for Asia-Pacific, while Commander won VMware's Asia-Pacifi c Market Maker of the Year. Ingram Micro was also recognised at a regional level with the gong for Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year.

A second set of awards were presented to local partners at VMware's Virtualisation Forum in Sydney, where Alphawest scored the VMware A/NZ Technical Partner Achievement award. The VMware A/NZ Market Maker award went to Thomas Duryea Consulting and Commander achieved the A/NZ Regional Partner of the Year. Oriel Technologies took out the vendor's A/NZ Rising Star award.
