Microsoft Small Business Server integrator, Calvert Technologies, has appointed Michael Todd as technical consultant.
The Adelaide based-company now has seven staff. Calvert managing director, Dean Calvert, said the plan was to add another four staff by the year's end.
"We're currently looking for a service co-ordinator and another technical consultant. Before the end of year we'll also look to bring on another administrator and sales resource," he said.
Calvert said the new appointments were in response to rapid growth that has left the managed services provider struggling to keep up with demand.
"We don't grow through advertising, but referrals from clients have let us grow from a small business to an SMB," he said.
Calvert Technologies has been in operation for 13 years and focuses on the Adelaide market, but maintains a small number of contracts in other states. Calvert said it was not a priority to expand interstate as yet.
"We maintain partnerships in other capital cities. I'm a firm believer in working with partners, and at this stage setting up offices in other states would create competition," he said.
