DiData strengthens Microsoft business with new recruit
Dimension Data has appointed Mark Miller as its application integration general manager. He replaces Peter Menadue, who has taken up a newly created position as the integrator's director of global solutions and technology for its global Microsoft Solutions Business.
Menadue has been with DiData for eight years and will continue to be based in Australia. He is responsible for solution development, technical community management, go-to market offerings and lifecycle management for DiData's Microsoft solutions business.
Miller's role includes looking after the business and financial strategy of DiData's Microsoft Solutions Application Integration unit. He will be based in Melbourne and report to general manager of solutions, Duncan Brown.
Menadue said his newly created position stemmed from DiData's decision to accelerate the growth in its Microsoft solutions business globally.
"We have some regions around the globe that are fairly mature and are growing strongly," he said. "The intent is to see how we can have a relevant and consistent set of go-to market offerings and how could we leverage some investments we've made in a solution development team to support that."
Menadue will initially focus on reviewing and updating the company's global solutions set.
"We already have a lot of market knowledge around things like telephony and integration and so forth, but we also think there are more things we can build and take to the market in that space," he said.
Miller will intially focus on understanding DiData's business and what it's doing with its customers, Menadue said.
"We went through an exhausting process to find mark and in a market where finding the right people is quite difficult, we're pretty pumped about it," he said.
Prior to joining Dimension Data, Miller worked with Microsoft integrator, SDM and Avanade.
