VoIP phone system for SMBs
The Australian Communications Consortium (ACC) has launched a new VoIP switching system.
The Coral IPx Office IP telephone system features a built-in data switch with an optional internal router and supports up to 240 access points. It could be administered remotely via an Intranet or the Internet. ACC channel partner manager, Bryan Snowball, said in a statement that VoIP telephony had reached a stage where it was as secure as traditional TDM-based telephony.
It is aiming the IPx Office at the SMB market under the banner of being an all-in-one IP telephony system. As such it could also suit branch offices or larger businesses.
According to ACC, the IPx Office range is already under distribution throughout the US, Europe, India and China.
