Supply Chain Consulting appoints northern region manager
Enterprise software and services provider, Supply Chain Consulting, has hired John Speed as its northern region manager. He will be responsible for the operations and performance of the company’s SAP business unit in NSW, Queensland and ACT.
Supply Chain Consulting managing director, Ian Hodge, said the new position stemmed from growth within the business.
“We’ve grown our customer numbers and staff internally. We were looking for someone that had the experience in the market place and a general management background,” he said. “John has an interesting mix of experience in the ERP and business intelligence space, which is a big growth area for us.”
Speed will initially focus on getting to know customers and Supply Chain’s major projects, Hodge said.
“He will also be making sure, from a leadership point of view, that the local team will have someone to provide them guidance and confidence on the way forward,” he said.
Prior to joining Supply Chain, Speed worked at Cognos for a couple of years and also held positions at Mincom, JD Edwards and PeopleSoft.
