The countdown to the 2008 Beijing Olympic games was marked locally by the Olympic Torch relay in Canberra on April 24. Lenovo Australia managing director, Phil Cameron, put his best foot forward to run with the Olympic Torch. Fifty Lenovo employees travelled to the capital city to cheer him and other torch bearers on. Cameron was handed the Olympic Torch by Lenovo ambassador and olympic swimmer, Libby Trickett. Cameron said it was an experience he would never forget.
