RuleBurst joins Microsoft business alliance
ACT-based management software vendor, RuleBurst, has signed on as one of 10 vendors for Microsoft's Business Process Alliance. The program will see it presenting its software to the vendor's partners globally.
Under the new arragement, RuleBurst has agreed to incorporate support for Microsoft's business process management server into its rules management products. The 10 vendors in the alliance will use Microsoft's .NET 3.0 Framework to build support for the Biztalk server into the BPM tools.
"We'll be showcasing the end-user benefit in a roadshow," RuleBurst CEO, Dominic O'Hanlon, said. "We'll go and meet with Microsoft customers, arm-in-arm."
Alongside the new alliance, RuleBurst has also turned its gaze back on the local market, and recently appointed Danny Mercer-Moore as channel manager. He will help expand the businesses footprint in the APAC region, particularly Australia and Singapore.
A Singapore office will open within weeks.
"I joined the company in October and could see that we had world-beating technology, but most of our wins were overseas and it was all being managed on a global basis," he said. "Local relationships hadn't been well managed at all, which is where Danny now comes in."
RuleBurst has already achieved significant international success. In recent times, its software has been implemented in large-scale rollouts with the US Internal Revenue Service and HM Revenue and Customs in the UK.

The Singapore office did open
The Singapore office did open within weeks and now it's one of the largest in the area. Their development is a real model for smaller business. They had a growth no one expected in just one year.
