Melbourne-based hosted service provider, Eleven Systems, has kicked off its local market push with the release of four offerings.
The first is an email "hygiene" solution that involves anti-spam and antivirus. Eleven partnered with IronPort Systems to provide that service offering.
The second hosted solution is based on email archiving and disaster recovery and allows users to archive emails offsite. Users also still have the ability to send and receive emails if the mail server is down.
The videoconferencing service involves technology from Tandberg and allows users to cue sessions across the Internet. The fourth service is a VMware based virtual server, where users can fully activate and operate virtual severs in about an hour.
Founder and CEO, Biagio La Rosa, highlighted SMEs with up to 500 staff as its target market. The hosted service offerings are available for a monthly fee.
"I've been really surprised about the number of organisations that still don't have email hygiene or disaster recovery," he said.
In September, Eleven will expand its services portfolio to include off-site data backup.
The services provider was founded in the fourth quarter of last year and started to build its local customer base in March. Eleven Systems has 40 online customers and two datacenters: One in Melbourne and Los Angeles, La Rosa said.
