Leading provider of networking equipment for the business and consumer markets, NETGEAR, has extended its sales team, focusing on its business class ProSafe products, with the appointment of two account managers.

Warren Manners is responsible for expanding the ProSafe business in New South Wales and ACT, and supporting NETGEAR’s ProSafe channel partners in those regions. Manners has 17 years experience in the Australian IT market and has held positions in channel management and business development for such enterprises as One Tel, Mobile Innovations and engin.

Liam Quinn is responsible for expanding the ProSafe business, and supporting ProSafe channel partners, in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. Quinn brings 13 years experience in the IT industry to the role. He has worked for vendors, distributors and resellers and possesses an excellent understanding of what is required by each sector to be profitable and successful. Quinn’s former roles include Product Manager for Toshiba, Distribution Channel Manager for Kyocera and IT Business Development Manager for Commander.

Ryan Parker, NETGEAR’s Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, says the appointments reflect the success of the NETGEAR ProSafe range in the SME market. “The ProSafe networking products, such as the gigabit switches and network-attached storage devices, are particularly suited to the Australian small-to-medium enterprise (SME) market. Liam and Warren will work with our channel partners in each region to build on the existing success of the range.”
