Email Systems sees Clear channel strategy

Managed services provider aims to re-label Email Systems' services under its ClearEmail offering
Julia Talevski 12 December, 2007 12:25:47

Managed email security services provider, Email Systems, has recruited Cleartext as a local partner.

Email Systems provides a range of email, Web management and protection services including Web filtering, archiving, image scanning and encryption as well as anti-spam and antivirus services.

Email Systems managing director, Charles Heunemann, said prior to setting up a presence in the local market in October, he contacted Cleartext about its plans. Cleartext will have access to Email Service's full suite of managed email filtering, content control, business continuity and archiving. The managed services provider aims to whitebox Email System's services as a part of its ClearEmail offering.

"What we are trying to achieve in the Australian market is to create the conditions where partners who do get together with us can build long-term, sustainable business and getting the balance of partner's right is the key to achieving that," Heunemann said.

"We needed to partner with somebody that was already delivering services and had a good roadmap," Cleartext co-founder and managing director, David Banes said.

"We were looking for new technologies and new services moving on from just straight email filtering."

Banes said the partnership with Email Systems allowed it to provide new services to its existing client base. Cleartext mainly caters for the SMB and SME market.

Heunemann said Email Systems plans to launch a partner program in the New Year.
