Word 2008 offers a Publishing Layout View, which adds a set of page layout tools (in the toolbar) and typographic options (in the Formatting Palette), as well as dynamic guidelines and positioning information. You can spend hours exploring the various chart formatting options in Excel 2008, or you can just select a set of fonts and colors from the Document Themes section of the Formatting Palette. SmartArt lets you can take your plain text bullet points SmartArt also lets you turn your bullet points into a spiffy slide. The text pane makes it easy to edit the text; the results are reflected on the slide right away. Entourage 2008 lets you have a floating My Day widget that'll show all your To Dos and upcoming events.
