Telcoinabox scores $3m contract

Deal involves the migration of 2000 Imagine customers to the provider's telco platform
Julia Talevski 10 July, 2008 16:08:31

Telecommunications wholesale provider, Telcoinabox, has won a contract with utility and products provider, Imagine UN, worth $3 million in the first 12 months.

The contract involves the migration of more than 2000 Imagine customers and 7000 phone lines to Telcoinabox's telecommunications platform. Imagine's customers will have access to fixed wire, mobile and data telephony products and services.

Telcoinabox managing director, Damian Kay, said the customer win showed that it could support large reseller customers of Imagine's calibre.

"We will also provide them with payment, billing and CRM systems to be able to grow and manage their customers," he said. "All of our online platforms will allow them to become a telecommunications provider in a very short amount of time."

Telcoinabox will also be offering business development, product and telecommunications training.

"Imagine has a bigger strategy of engaging customers with more products and services and we allow them to be able to do that," Kay said. "They will also have access to dedicated account management and support."

Telcoinabox has spent about 12 months upgrading its infrastructure that includes an all-in-one billing, provisioning and CRM system.

Commenting on my Imagine membership experience - The savings enjoyed via Imagine Essential Services from telco and other products and services have been reassigned to our ongoing business development, sponsorship beneficiaries and other philanthropic goals. We look forward to continuing this trend with Telcoinabox and Imagine Telco, and improving CRM.
Congratulations to both organisations and their key players for the successful liaison and positive outcome.

Regards and thanks, C.
