American Power Conversion (APC)
APC now provides free benefits for home and SME users seeking to protect their PCs and electronic equipment from damaging power surges and spikes. Under the Equipment Protection Policy (EPP), APC’s UPS customers will be reimbursed up to $200,000 for damage to properly connected equipment, including disrepair caused by lightning strikes. The EPP covers all products in the SurgeArrest and Back-UPS ranges. SurgeArrest comes with a retail price of $90, while the Back-UP ES costs $262 and the Back-UPS CS costs $221.
