Netgear has promoted Peter Triantos to head up its national distribution business following the departure of Sue Ponder.
Country manager, Ryan Parker, said Triantos had previously looked after its southern region distributors in SA, WA and Victoria, including Synnex. Ponder had been in charge of its relationship with Ingram Micro and other distribution partners.
Under the new structure, Triantos will work across all relationships. He has been with Netgear for six years.
Despite the expanded role, Parker said it would be business as usual and didn't anticipate any significant alterations to the company's channel model.
"We have always been channel focused and ensure the distributors are working closely with us so there won't be any specific changes," he said.
Ponder left Netgear earlier last month to spend time with her family and has yet to decide on her next step. She was with the vendor for nine years.
