Data InCrypt named IAPP member

The company has become a foundation member of the Australia and New Zealand chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Synergy Equities Group [ASX: SYG] subsidiary Data InCrypt has been named a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals [IAPP].

The company has become a foundation member of the IAPP's new Australia and New Zealand chapter.

The IAPP represents over 5,000 members from business, Government and academic circles across 32 countries.

It provides a forum for privacy professionals to share best practices, track trends advance new issues and develop standards for privacy professionals to follow.

The Australia and New Zealand chapter was inaugurated in Sydney on August 27 as part of National Privacy Awareness Week.
