StorageCraft goes on recruitment spree

Data protection vendor, StorageCraft, has appointed four new staff locally to support new offices across the eastern seaboard.

Stuart Brooks has been appointed the state manager for Queensland and will oversee its Brisbane office, which opens on September 1. Ian Clarke and Melissa Olsen have been appointed to technical services roles in Sydney, while Peter Stace has been appointed as the NSW strategic accounts manager.

StorageCraft Asia-Pacific regional manager, Greg Wyman, said the vendor was looking for a further three staff including a BDM for its planned Melbourne office. All would provide support to customers and partners.

“Everything is sorted to set up the Melbourne office, we’re just looking for the right person,” Wyman said.

StorageCraft is also looking at setting up a Singapore office in the next 3-6 months to complement the Sydney and Brisbane locations.

The new appointments bring the vendor's total local headcount to 12. Wyman said the plan was to retain 20 staff across APAC by the end of December.

“Once we have the Melbourne and Singapore offices set up our focus will be on adding support and training services and focusing on customer care,” Wyman said. “We are 100 per cent channel oriented so it’s important that we give partners as much support as they need.”
