Auzentech sounds good to Mittoni

Niche PC and peripherals distributor the first to bring on Auzentech sound cards
Matthew Sainsbury 03 December, 2007 13:23:00

High-end soundcard vendor, Auzentech, has launched in Australia for the first time and signed an exclusive agreement with Melbourne-based distributor, Mittoni.

Mittoni director, Louis Mittoni, said the timing was fortunate as the niche PC and peripherals distributor had been looking for an enthusiast soundcard to complement its range.

"We have changed our branding this month to be more focused towards the high-end gaming market," Mittoni said.

The Auzentech line represented the first enthusiast sound cards to be represented by Mittoni, he said.

Auzentech's sound cards offered the distributor bundling opportunities with other immersion and gaming technologies in its vendor stable, he said.

Mittoni said the distributor would be active in marketing Auzentech products, and that forum reviews and magazines would be a key way to get users and resellers involved in the market.

Mittoni focuses on importing and distributing extreme performance/enthusiast gaming hardware, including specially designed computer desks, graphics and sound cards and headsets. It maintains 15 staff at its Notting Hill office.
