Open Text Ramps Up Asia Pacific Presence
Sydney, 10 June 2008 - Open Text™ (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC), a global leader in enterprise content management (ECM), has enhanced its Asia Pacific operations with new marketing and technical leadership appointments.
Delicia Cordeaux has been appointed Technical Director for Asia Pacific. Based in Sydney, Cordeaux will be responsible for Open Text’s Professional Services, Customer Support and Pre-Sales business units across Asia Pacific. In addition, she will be responsible for building a consulting partner network to complement and extend the reach of the Open Text Professional Services team. Furthermore, she will renew focus on growing Open Text’s Learning Services and Premier Support business units.
Cordeaux joins Open Text with 20 years’ experience in IT and was most recently at IBM for 11 years. During her tenure at IBM she established the brand education business operation across Asia Pacific for the IBM Software Group, managed the Enterprise Services Support business across Asia Pacific and A/NZ and led global project and program management teams. Prior, Cordeaux worked at Logical Solutions as a Senior Systems Engineer on the Optus account and at Lend Lease in various IT roles.
Leonie Cusack has been appointed Senior Manager, Field Marketing Asia Pacific, based in Sydney. Cusack joins Open Text with more than 12 years’ experience in marketing and public relations in the IT industry. She will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, managing partner and alliance marketing, and working closely with the regional sales team across both Australia and New Zealand and Asia, including Japan.
Cusack was previously regional marketing manager for Interwoven and has also held senior marketing positions at Top Layer Networks and marketing agency, Marketing Options. In these roles, she created successful branding campaigns that increased vendor awareness and sales lead generation, while at the same time also successfully working with company partners and client organisations to enhance their market momentum and presence.
