Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C2255
The DocuPrint C2255 is an A3-sized printer with Self Scanning Light Emit-ting Diode (S-LED) technology capable of colour reproduction at 1200 x 2400dpi. The machine is capable of reproducing colour pages at speeds of up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) in colour and monochrome, and has a Micro Accurate Control Screen (MACS) digital screening technology which controls pixel production based on image density. This feature produces pages with smooth gradation and better highlight reproduction, Fuji Xerox claims. The DocuPrint C2255 has a first page out time of 8.3 seconds, fast duplex printing at 20ppm colour and monochrome, and a large paper handling capacity of up to 3480 sheets. The C2255 features multi-platform networking, supporting 100Base-TX/10Base-T, USB 2.0, IPv6 and Adobe PostScript 3, and has been International Energy Star certified. Built-in security features include print user control, hard disk overwrite, secure watermarks and a hidden Universally Unique Identifier mark.

Acer 8920G
The Aspire 8920G 18.4-inch notebook is part of Acer's new Gemstone Blue premium series designed for entertainment applications. The 8920G has an Acer CineCrystal TFT LCD screen that offers 8ms response times and high-definition resolution (at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution). It also has a 16:9 aspect ratio for widescreen viewing. The notebook features six integrated speakers and produces optimised second generation Dolby Home Theatre surround sound using Acer Tuba CineBass booster and PureZone technologies. The 8920G has an Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS graphics card and Blu-ray disc drive, as well as a CineDash media console next to the keyboard. This touch sensitive control panel allows users to navigate media menus such as volume, music and movies. Users have the option of one or two hard drives, with capacities up to 320GB per drive. Other notebook features include 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N network connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), Gigabit Ethernet and Wake-on-LAN ready LAN. Acer has bundled in a number of security measures, including Bio-Protection fingerprint reader, HDD passwords and a Kensington lock slot. The vendor claims the 8 cell Li-ion battery will last for two hours when playing disks through the player. The notebook weighs 4.1kg including the battery. Optional extras include a three-pin 90W AC adapter and a digital TV tuner.
