Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 8.0
The latest version of Sophos' Endpoint Security and Control solution incorporates Network Access Control (NAC) technology. NAC enables the solution to assess managed, unmanaged and unauthorised computers to detect configuration issues, such as out-of-date antivirus protection or a disabled firewall. It can then fix those issues before allowing access to the network. Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 8.0 integrates antivirus, anti-spyware, host intrusion prevention, application control and firewall technology to block viruses and spyware. It has a centralised management console which automatically deploys and manages the assessment, control and protection of all Windows, Mac and Linux computers. In a single scan, the solution delivers cross-platform preventive security and control for desktops, laptops, file servers and mobile devices. The software solution is available as a free upgrade for current licensed Sophos Endpoint Security and Control customers and comes with 24-hour phone, email and online support from the Sophos team.

BenQ G2110W
The G2110W is a 21.6-inch glossy bezel widescreen LCD monitor designed to provide a high quality widescreen picture for all applications. Dynamic Contrast Ratio automatically adjusts back-lighting to optimise light levels for each and every scene. The vendor claims its 2500:1 high contrast ratio will reveal the subtlest, darkest details within a picture. Its Senseye+Photo proprietary digital image enhancement engine also fine-tunes depth, clarity and boldness. The monitor has five preset modes - Standard, Dynamic, Photo, Movie and sRGB - which offer one-touch optimised set-tings. Colour fi delity is maintained across all sRGB compliant peripherals with the G Series' sRGB mode. According to BenQ, productivity is also increased via the large wide format display size. Users can view Word documents and pages side-by-side at 100 per cent, while for such applications as Excel and desktop publishing, more data and graphics can be displayed at one time. Large screen viewing also enables easier navigation through multiple open applications, multiple monitor displays and notebook attachments.
