EServGlobal Limited (ASX:ESV) has forged a partnership with SunTec that will see the companies collaborate to deign a convergent billing solution for WiMAX providers.

The new solution will combine eServGlobal's ChargingMax and SunTec's TBMS-T product suites. It promises to be highly configurable and allow for a multitude of different services.

There are now more than 200 WiMAX networks being deployed world-wide, with more than 100 pre-deployment WiMAX trials in progress.

And Infonetics predicts that there will be 6 million Wimax subscribers worldwide by the end of the year.
