Michael Bosnar has resigned from his position as senior director of channels at CA.
The reasons for his departure remain unclear at this stage but it is believed a number of sales reps and some managers have also left the security and storage vendor recently.
ARN reported Bosnar's promotion into the role just last month in a reshuffle that also saw local channel sales manager, George Hladilo, moved into a regional product role and distribution manager, Ray McIntyre, tasked with managing volume resellers and related products.
At the same time, CA announced it was handing more of its direct accounts to partners.
Bosnar joined CA as channel and alliances manager in September 2006 and is a well known figure in the local channel.
He was formerly the managing director of failed distributor, eXeed, which closed its Australian operations in March 2005 after struggling to come to terms with the loss of its HP contract a year earlier.
Prior to that he had forged his reputation with other distributors, Prion and Siltek.
