Epson EMP-822

Epson promotes its EMP-822 as a presentation and teaching projector for the education and business markets, citing improved brightness, increased security, reduced operating costs and a three-year warranty as its key selling points. The EMP-822 uses Epson's patented low cost E-TORL lamp with an extended life of 3000-4000 hours depending on operating mode. It provides a higher brightness of 2600 ANSI lumens at lower power consumption and can be replaced from $269. As a result the EMP-822 has a low operating power consumption of 231 watts (W) and a standby consumption of just 5.8W.
