Brennan inks multimillion-dollar OEM deal

Partnership will see hosting provider offering an ERP, CRM and e-commerce solution

Managed hosting provider, Brennan IT, has signed a multimillion-dollar OEM contract with business management software vendor, NetSuite.

The deal will see Brennan extend NetSuite's integrated software-as-a-service (SaaS) business management solution by providing additional business application modules. Brennan's managing director, Dave Stevens, said it would enable the company to take enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and e-commerce solutions to mid-market clients.

"We think the mid-market needs access to a sizeable ERP solution, with CRM and e-commerce capabilities to get some competitive advantage out of their business," he said. "Taking this solution to our 5000 clients should have a big impact."

An integrated Brennan and NetSuite solution will be available to the market early next year, Stevens said. Brennan defines the mid-market as organisation with up to 500 seats. "With NetSuite we can get a basic version up and running within days and could switch over to using its functionality for CRM real quick. We can customise the application and integrate it with the rest of our systems," Stevens said.

Brennan is also looking to hire six more staff to its Business Solutions division. Stevens said he would like to recruit pre- and post-sales staff. He intends to hire another 40 heads to cater for the NetSuite product set over the next 12 months.
