Emerson Network Power has recruited Angela Olyslager to the newly created role of Queensland and NT channel account manager.
She will help channel partners enhance their business through lead generation, organising events and training sessions.
Emerson director of marketing and communications, Peter Spiteri, said the market was starting to take off for the vendor in that region and it needed an extra person on the ground to support resellers and two distributors in those states - Westcon Group and Power Quality Consultants.
"We want to make sure we can help and support our partners in regards to selling Emerson," Olyslager said. "The channel is important and my first point of focus is to meet our existing distributors and resellers."
Emerson had about 50 partners across Queensland and NT, she said.
Prior to joining Emerson, Olyslager spent a few months at Commander and was previously stationed in the UK as a business development manager for restaurant group, Brinkley's.
